Scorpian

• The scorpion adds an advantage of spite.

The goodwill to explore her, with not even his might.

He glistens his nose upon her clandestine smile.

She , the perilous is abruptly confused.

To portray …

To act…

To be…

She, is her own professed and sometimes confused individuality.

Her glow…

Her hair…

Her brow to cleave, cannot be that to his…

To vanquish the skeleton within her heart, is a must she must perform.

The careless is separated from her judgment to care, but her heart requires a deeper degree of immortal temptation.

To be frivolous, tis is not to nurture.

She needs a scorpion to bite her to relinquish her eternal love.

Her connection, her presence within his heart is spread that is evident.

But God spake to her…and offered a renew.

But the other, the partner did not reply.

His sentiments are reversed, for his need to captivate his bachelordom is far beyond her cry.

She cannot see beneath the well of reality, for her soul is one and now lost to a irreverent-connected soul.

He despite all recollection denies her…

He for all action is only a desirous spectacle to be alone.

For in the end if he should ever contemplate, they, he will need to convey his love, by her way to forgive.

For now, the blood of his, has vanished and does not stream.

He can never speculate, if she will ever harvest his offspring in her womb..

His adoration for inflation has no crop for motive.

As sad as she is, his denial only allows death.

Her motivation knows no bound…

For his harvest is the presence she adores.

When the war convenes she is the mightiest.

Until his cynical nature subsides, she is lost journeying for him, as he travels at warp speed against her.

His isolation is the abuse, her heart cannot take.

Until heaven, shall she concentrate?

Amass the scorpion who holds her heart, like a great flaming fire that flees away from the wind.

When the final storm comes, the nightingale is taken forever by the scorpion who only has her heart.

Vanity

• I cannot let our connection go in vain.

The way I am cursed by your soul…

The way your body moves my aura…

Thy way, your heart takes me in…

In my sleep, and I communicate with my heart to you
…when I breath.

The way your transgressions anticipate my enthusiasm for your distance….

You know the boundaries of our destiny…
But your keep them far away.

You know me when I cannot touch you..
But your mind feels my soul abrupt….

….. and moves my presence.

You make love with your eyes towards a future, amidst the relief I cannot achieve..
And the actions you transpose in my mind…is the formula…

Is as flawless as your ability to gravitate towards me….
…. is the ignition that is endless.

Your eternal connection to me….is senseless to humanity…
….But your spiritual completion is always so close.

Your word I can not keep, while I make the others weep.

The replacements vary…
…But no one can keep your flavor.

Your reward is the breading to my beat.

The aforementioned wandering is the vase I cannot shutter.

The strength of my heart is not loud enough to break your fear.

The only rescue that can release the craft of the cries is the companionship of your past.

What God wills is the makeshift camp that will lift your paralysis.

I can only offer myself, whenever you should journey to find the true me.

I cannot pardon your estate to the mass quantity.

I can bid your goodbye in the down-trodden dew.
However, I have no opportunity to hold the hour of bold.

I am happy to unveil my cover, whenever you come to effectuate the animation of my soul.

Until tomorrow I will be…

While you are amongst the stars, a breath-taking…

An amazing and magnified anomaly..,

The discrepancy is your own.

I am forever thee’s,

But the vanity to partake …

Is to observe…

that I am forever………….

……………………………. only he’s.

Vain

• What are the values I sanctify?

My internal scars are not malignant...

What are the feelings I clarify?

The atonement of mine gestures are in the multitude of my witness…

What is the funk, I explore?

The disappointment not abandoned, but entrenched in modest supply…

Where is the passion I adore?

The spring of sorrow is not set free...

Where is the extreme patience I endure?

I am not spoiled…

Where did my external fears spread?

The tears…

The fear…

Upon my spirit is the blessings of His majesty…

While courageous in the funk ..I am captivated.

The mercy of his peace…

The only one …

Where do I model my heart?

Resentment for honor.

The provider of my indignation.

But the courage of tomorrow.

Move past my heart and past my grief….

The alone… I am not.

The courage of my bereaving diffusion….

With him…. I am still.

An answer from thee?

Is an answer from He.

The information of my professional bloom….

The scars I consume…

He shines on me... simple happiness and gratitude.

The birds chirp, the squirrels gather, the cows sing,

I see the eagle’s wings.

But wait what is that in the distance?

The Phoenix with his gesture, greeting me with a watching eye.

Captivated by the souring splendor of his rising high, the Phoenix shows me how to look to the sky and allow my destiny to rise above.

The matters I profess…

Upon the Phoenix, must I roam,

Upon the Phoenix, onward home….

Upon the Phoenix, I rise again,

Upon the Phoenix..I am courageous, once again….

Upon the Phoenix, we rise to the sun,

Upon the phoenix, I am sent to be of His glory and not against the wind... singing….

I soar while I roam…

The power of the Phoenix is repealed and in me once again.

How does his creation play a role?

I roam, while I restore.

I restore, as I explore.

I explore…as I must.

I must…. as I am…

As I am, I am with Him.

And with Him, I am anointed.

Without Him… I am bust.

With you I am savvy and develop a product robust.

The physician of clarity…

I am not spoiled.

With you I am cured….

Without you I can not endure.

Reek havoc… I cannot.

See purity?

I can.

I balance trust and compassion, with passion and not resentment.

With God I am saved.

Without you completely, I am not.

Claim that we are…and rescue my heart in the vanity of this night.

Reach out to me now and do not obstruct me…not.

Its Me Interesting
January 24 at 1:32am • Jarett James Worley So, who's gonna pay for the Health care?
January 24 at 2:24am • Carry Smith taxpayers who are also paying for the stimulus. duh. same one's who pay for parks, roads, education, foodstamps and the rest. freedom of speech is glorious. thanks for your inquiry.
January 24 at 2:24pm • Its Me Lol we have so many people it's not even a great increase in taxes for those people. I worked at George mason university full time for 3 yrs. In which my supervisor took two month long vacays leavin me and my coworker, who had been there a year longer and also got no healthcare cause the state didn't require mason to give it to "unclassified" ... See Moreworkers, to take care of masons recycling!!! I owe inova 5 grand because of this dumb stuff, and u wonder y there is so much hate and crime in this country?
January 24 at 2:29pm • Jarett James Worley Oh, well that's just cut and dry isn't it. THE taxpayers, who exactly is The taxpayers? Its people that wake up early everyday and try to make a concious effort to better themselves and there families. Why should WE have to pay for the people who don't want responsibility and won't attempt to buckle down and contribute to society. I'm not talking ... See Moreabout the old and retired people who have already paid their dues, but the proposed Health care Bill states if they're to old to contibute they can be refused care! No, I'm talking about the 1/3rd of the population in this country that expect something for free, that don't pay taxes ,that don't contribute! Now that pisses people off! Including me. And AMEN for freedom of speech it is so glorious, but the glory is the Lords and the Lords word offends all you Liberals doesn't it?
January 24 at 2:40pm • Carry Smith I am tired of conservatives who pretend that one must not be religious to believe in Christ and a national healthcare system too. Let's take the 1/3 of the population who are single mothers and trying to get out of welfare. Let's take the 1/3 of the populations who parents die and can't do for themselves. Let's take the 1/3 of the population who gets injected by a needle and can't afford HIV meds, because someone accidently gave them the virus. Let's take 1/3 of the population who is either in college or has just graduated and cannot afford healthcare and has expired from their parents plan. They can't get a job and have to resort to part-time work. They can not afford insurance because premiums are too expensive. But if they could afford a public option they would subscribe to a plan. But let's just inject one point of clarity here for conservatives who believe that we should fund things like a stimulus to buy out big businesses like AIG. Two presidents have bailed out companies like these, who have not helped us. So now I ask, is it completely a two party battle between conservatives and liberals, or republicans or democrats? Is healthcare, environment, education or employment a battle to resolve between conservatives or liberals? No. Discussions like these are also why more people in recent elections are upset about our current system. Many are identifying themselves as independents in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

Now, onto my next point… I am liberal on most things. That is why you should ask and identify my argument before your propose ludicrous information, that the LORD offends all liberals to try to prove a point that has nothing to do with how the current administration has failed to solve healthcare and spending, rather democrats or republicans. I am a fiscal conservative but also a liberal on socials issues. Let me say this. I believe we need a public option, but with financial constraints rebuilding our current domestic infrastructure, I do not think the U.S. is at a capacity to afford a public option presently. Taxes must be raised before we can do that. A stimulus is just a band-aid, on a wound that can not help in the long run, before Americans must take the responsibility and work to develop a better economy before we can do such a thing to afford a public option. In my opinion, a public option is something we need but maybe in a few years. However, the current bill would not even go into affect until 2012. By 2012, we should be in better state than we are now. But let me ask, you can help Haitians, but what about Americans? Conservatives or liberals alike are quick to help others in other countries, but when do we stop to help our own.

Unclassified workers I think also need to be taxed. Don't know how it can happen, without getting stricter on immigration laws. But they put constraints on our infrastructure, whether democrat or republican, it is time for them to put their dues in to.... See More

January 24 at 3:12pm • Jarett James Worley Very well, Carry.
January 24 at 3:20pm • Its Me Dude I just told u I woke up at 5 am to work from 6-230 mon-fri for 3 years and was denied healthcare from a state run institution simply because they weren't obligated to give it to me, what was ur long essay about? My supervisor took two one month paid vacays I get hurt off the job and I owe 5 grand for getting a sling on my shoulder? Plus all ... See Morethe days I missed I got no paid vacay. U people r hateful and mean. If u make less than 250,000 a year u won't be taxed. Ur cryin for that? I'm cryin because my credit score is shot after working 3 yrs for a school that is constantly profiled by the Washington post. U prolly couldn't be a recycling man for 3 yrs without any healthcare 40+ hrs. A week bud... Sorry, get real
January 24 at 3:35pm • Carry Smith My long essay is about conservatives thinking I am not concerned and liberals who are not real as you say. I am not hateful or mean, just truthful. America has to find an away to provide healthcare in a way that will not disenfranchise Americans further and help everyone. If unclassified people need benefits to, they need it, give it to them. I did... See More not suggest to not help them. Not doing so I think is also a liability. But they cannot get it for free, if tax paying Americans have to pay, everyone should be taxed and be able to receive benefits. But a system without income-based befits is not sustainable. A system that is not able to help everyone is not worth having either. Being top rated or rated at all is great. However, schools that have a clinic too, should offer benefits for their students. Hell you pay a fee for their services, or at least a discounted rate, so you do not go in debt. People need to learn that we can introduce a program. But it must be efficient. FDR did not mean for S.S. to go as long as it did. It was to be restructured in the 1960's but that did not happen. It's time for a change America. Let's make it happen. Sorry, but let's all get real my friend.
January 24 at 3:58pm • Jehan Mustafa Perera This country is in too deep. Everything is just a patch up. The powerful rich won't stop n give up their riches. They'll just buy ways to make the rest of the population (who are in need) seem as if though they've got a plan in working to help the country out. This country is looked down upon in so many parts of the world...it wasn't true years ago. I really don't see drastic changes happening to make this country better. The rich are way too powerful. The damn illuminati!
January 26 at 7:07pm • Carry Smith Wow! I agree. Your statement backs my argument, that a stimulus is just a "band-aid." Or as you put it, a "patch," for the rich to have even more legitimate control to under mass the proletariat, right before their eyes. Herbert Hoover and Andrew Johnson, feared that one day this country would be controlled by a rich or oligarchy that uses the ... See Moreaverage taxpayer as a puppet, pulling strings and stabilizing them when needed. It's amazing how petroleum companies are still rich, and they claim gas prices are the way they, because the economy is bad. In reality, if one was to research the taxes we pay on gas and the revenue petroleum companies receive on every gallon purchased, many people would reach a rude awakening. I guess you are some conspiracy theorist, huh? But I think even though as ludicrous as it may sound, there are hidden unions in power somewhere, whether the illumnati or free masons. I also question what other secret societies are out there besides big buisnesses, controlling america's debt and finances?
January 26 at 7:20pm • Jehan Mustafa Perera That's why I'm gonna join the rest of sheep for a little while and get the fuck outta here.
January 26 at 9:46pm • Carry Smith Well, goodluck! Wish u the best!
January 26 at 10:48pm • Carry Smith Well, that's why I will be here to help restructure and manage the rest of the flock from an antiquated system, in desperate need of a honest leader.
January 26 at 11:02pm • Jehan Mustafa Perera Sweet! Then I shall return after you've succeeded. In the meantime I've got a country to help who has bigger needs.
January 26 at 11:33pm • Carry Smith You do that.you help underprivileged countries. I help underprivileged and disenfranchised here. Good luck, humanitarian.:)

Blessings

• What are blessings in the day?

What are the decisions we make?

Where is God to lend a helping hand?

He is here... to send his servants to greet you and find your joy.

In the clouds with no mercy..

The doves carry me away soaring to his peace with blessed relief.

The trivial, done away.

He forecasts his word.

His temperament abold..

His truth unfolds.
His destiny ignites you until He relieves.

The awaiting of trouble is not predained, but mighty in understanding.

You cleave not.

But He cleaves to your heart.

Upon your sleeve is grandiose reprieve.

In His all consuming joy you find He..
There to wrap you and clothe you in positivity and lift you from turmoil..
Where you strive to be held in His merciful glare.

I journey not.. without my Farther.

I do no live without His blessings.

His blessings is all achieved.

My will to fly is nevermore.

While, I miserably fail, He brings gifts of forgiving repute.

No dispute in the might of His melody.

For I'm with him, not away.

I am well to do relief..

The blessings of today are upon me, as He carries me to another day.

Amen.

“Teen Prostitution in Georgia”

• Human rights are issues that are important at any level of governance. Whether it is a federal, state or local policy, human rights issues are often changed and adapted in order to improve the lives of citizens. On February 1, 2010 more than 500 concerned citizens, apart of religious and conservative organizations rallied against HB 582 at the Georgia Capitol in Atlanta. HB 582 is a measure to set an illegal prostitution rate at an age of 18, instead of 16 (Suggs, 2010). Many religious and conservatives, like the groups who marched the capitol, are increasingly upset about the passage of HB 582 (Suggs, 2010). They believe the bill is a measure to decriminalize prostitution in its entirety.

However, various women’s organizations like the Georgia Women for a Change and the Younger Women’s Taskforce of Atlanta supports HB 582. Women’s advocacy groups support HB 582, because the legislation protects more than 350 young teens a month, which are illegally forced into prostitution and charged with a criminal offense. Public interest and advocacy groups in Georgia are gaining support for similar issues that take into consideration human trafficking and problems of sexual violence, plaguing Atlanta’s street. Oftentimes, teens are charged as adults. Furthermore, the legislation now protects young women in Georgia, who cannot advocate for themselves. Additionally, the legislation is a measure to also protect the girls from being tried as adults. Potentially, HB 582 will help transition teens to become productive members of society through rehabilitation, better than before.

Secondly, HB 582 is an important first step in addressing the issue in Georgia. Before, young girls before were picked-up and prosecuted without proper protection and teens did not have the chance to contact family members or any other legal guardian for that matter. In the eyes of the law, “if you did the crime, you did the time.” Now, the girls are protected.

Additionally, HB 582 is an important step towards advancing the lives of young women in Atlanta that are illegally introduced into this unfair and abusive market. The legislation is a great achievement towards reaching political officials on an issue that has increasingly disrupted the lives of young girls. No longer will their lives be permanently damaged, while their futures would be unjustly consumed with a criminal record. Consequently, now they have a chance towards their own prospective careers.

While, many political officials in the past objected to HB 582, finally they see that measures like HB 582 are necessary. HB 582 is necessary, because reformulating the law is the only way to protect the rights of the number of disenfranchised young women that are exploited in this trade. Furthermore, no longer will teens get lost in the system. Today, Georgia’s political officials have advanced the risk of legislation permanently disrupting the lives of these unfortunate teens, by two years. Although, it is a small step on a national scale, to revitalizing antiquated laws, or lost groups, now many teens will benefit in the future.

An unknown author once said, “It is better to prevent, rather than destroy.” In conclusion, HB 582 is important, and should be enforced by the public. Rehabilitation in the law is necessary. The potential harm of HB 582 in decriminalizing prostitution is not a valid argument to amending HB 582, since more then 500 young teen a month will now benefit from the legislation. Furthermore, one concept is certain, it is in the, “public interest,” that we protect teens that are subjected to illegal prostitution.

The Blues

Tribute to my lost one on his birthday.....

Have you ever seen or heard the Blues?

Have you made love to it?

Did it make you sob?

Did it make you cry?

When you felt something, tragic, did it bring you to your knees and make you weep?

Did it fill an iron grip around your heart?

Did it create a sickness in your spirit?

What was the death of your spirit..

.The Blues, your Blues, A lost Love you could not have?

Was it a love so great that before it could reach its' full potential, you cry and pray for the time to leave this world?

Was the love of your Blues, a once in a lifetime affair?

When you walk, does it's shadow, follow you?

When it rains, do you smell the lingering of the Blues?

When they sing the Blues: sweet Muddy and sweet James, are you captivated by their presence?

Do they tap you on the shoulder and wake you up before you disappear in the mists of the Blues, at dawn before the sun rises?

Do you stand, howling at the moon?

For in the mists of a second, when taken by the Blues, are you grasping your breast to take a breath of oxygen to recharge your beat to follow the song?

Are you too far gone by the Blues?

To be taken by the end?

I ask you again; have you seen or heard the Blues?

Do you live it?

Does it know you by name?

Do you call on it in the night to serenade you secretly in the middle of the night, in your own private love affair?

How does the Blues move you?

Wait.
Listen.
Feel.
Follow...
and you will see.
