My Eulogy.

• Recently, I attended the Board of Director’s retreat in Atlanta, on December 6, 2009 for the Younger Women’s Taskforce of Atlanta. We were tasked to write a eulogy about ourselves, to discover and uncover how we would be remembered. This is what I wrote:

-Carry Smith was a vicarious and youthful woman who pushed the envelope her entire life. She overcame hardships and obstacles, and approached hardships with a persevering spirit to motivate others to strive for excellence. Her contributions is her story of commitment to passion and influence to challenge her peers to pursue their goals, without focusing on negative results, but positive contributions. She had an innate ability to see things and organize a plan to transition from poverty to wealthy, and fear to boldness. She was a woman of integrity and purpose. May her life inspire us to be better and think better, and achieve more.

How would you want to be remembered? How would you live up to the standards you would want to be remembered by? What is your internal and external legacy? How do you propose to define and transform your sprit into a greater stance of evolution? Can you change? And if so how will you do it and why?
